Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Katie, and I am a second shooter for a talented wedding photographer, Abby Rae Photography, located in Portland, OR. The purpose of my website is to offer a view of weddings and portraiture from a different perspective than a lead photographer. It’s all in the details

I love seeing all of the details of weddings. One of my favorites from recent years was from a wedding in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. It was at an orchard just outside of Hood River, and the theme of all the decor was peaches!

Still learning

As photography, and this world, is ever changing, I like to consider that I am always learning in this field. The latest area of photography I am learning is landscapes, and some of those photos are scattered throughout this site.

I think the best way to learn photography is to keep taking photos with whatever camera you have!
